Roasted pepitas trial #2 occurred this evening. I tackled the ranch dressing mix, again with a splash of olive oil. Eh, okay. They’re good, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not quite my thing. On a scale of 1 to 10, they’re a 7.
Salted pepitas … 9/10
Ranch pepitas … 7/10
My prediction is that the garlic powder/garlic salt recipe will we a solid 10/10. My, how I love garlic. I’ll keep you posted!
I had never before heard the word ‘ pepitas ‘ before. I love
pumpkin seeds, and now will ask people if they would care for some
of my ‘ home grown pepitas ‘. Roasted and flavored, of course!
