my 30 by 30.

Yep, I’m currently less than a year and a half from turning 30. I’m not quite sure what made me think of this today, but I did. It seems only appropriate that I immediately develop my list of 30 things I’d like to do before 30 so there’s plenty of time to get ‘em done. So … here goes!

  1. Graduate from grad school. Translation … finish the daggone thesis, slacker.
  2. Take a trip to NYC. It’s been far too long since I’ve been.
  3. Log 50 dives. This is a stretch, but I’d love to get as close as possible.
  4. Finish rescue diver certification.
  5. Start painting again.
  6. Take a pottery class.
  7. Take a cooking class.
  8. Continue to blog … a lot.
  9. Spend more time with my family.
  10. Find my inner-self.
  11. Show my sisters how much I care about them.
  12. Play in the rain with my nephews.
  13. Renew my faith.
  14. Volunteer.
  15. Reach 2,000 del.icio.us links … I’m at 1,479 as of today!
  16. Go to a hockey game.
  17. Reconcile with those I’ve abandoned.
  18. Figure out what to do with my currently “caged” creative energy.
  19. Try a buffalo burger.
  20. Begin growth of our family … from 2 humans and dog to 3 humans and dog.
  21. Read and review 30 books. List TBD soon.
  22. Go on a vacation with my husband and only my husband.
  23. Take a fun train ride!
  24. Tell a certain someone to go fly a kite.
  25. Fly a kite.
  26. Care less. Let go. Be free.
  27. Expand my reggae library.
  28. Allow my business to take flight.
  29. Find & buy the ideal big Coach.
  30. Learn to plan less … be more spontaneous!

Think I can accomplish them all in less than a year and a half? :)

continued …

31. Finish a second quilt … I’ve completed one and started two more, but neither are finished!
